Stockli's Stormrider 88 is a powerful mid-fat all-mountain freeride and free-rando ski and was a big hit last winter. The Stormrider 88 combines tourability with excellent downhill performance. With a 128-88-114 mm shape and 18.4 m radius (175 cm) , the Stormrider 88 has a shape ideally suited to all mountain skiing. With a medium-stiff flex and excellent torsional rigidity, the '88 grips well on hardpack while the rockered tip gives great steerability and float offpiste. Stockli have built the Stormrider 88 using their unique sidewall technology. The Polywal design offers 10 times more impact resistance without a loss of damping. The tried and proven construction and the Powder Rocker make the Stormrider 88 a really fine companion in deep powder and an easy partner when skinning up. Stockli skis are expensive and there is a reason. Stockli make absolutely no concessions when building skis, every model is built with the very best materials and hi-tech manufacturing processes to ensure the best possible performance and durability. Unlike many cheaper light-wood cored skis, a Stockli ski will perform for many years without losing flex and pep.
