Marker F10 Tour 2024

While there is no doubt that "tech" or "insert" bindings are lighter and used by most tourers nowadays, there are tourers who find getting into them a hassle and others who want to be sure they have alpine levels of release security when touring.
For you Marker have made the Tour F10 and Tour F12 EPF bindings.
Like the classic Diamir bindings from Fritschi, these use a plate to connect the toe and heel units together.
This plate can be clamped down at the heel for skiing, or unlocked to allow the binding to pivot when climbing.
To avoid lateral flex and maximize control when skiing, Marker have positioned the base plate directly on the ski, resulting in a stable position while skinning up and a practical close-to-the ski boot position when skiing down.

The Marker Tour F10 has a release range of 3-10 DIN for skiers weighing 30-105 kg, and is recommended for skis up to 110 mm wide at the waist.
For wider skis we'd suggest the Tour F12 EPF with the wider baseplate especially designed for fatter skis.

The Tour F10 comes in two sizes, size S for boot sole lengths 265-325 mm and size L for boot soles 305-365 mm and with a choice of 90mm or 100 ski brakes.
With proven reliability over many seasons, the Marker Tour F10 is easy to use and offers alpine level security in the backcountry.
The Tour F10 is also a good choice if you'll be using one pair of skis for both resort and touring.

Features:

Sole I.D

Whatever boot you wear, all Marker SOLE.ID bindings are compatible to every kind of ski boot! Whether you prefer alpine boots or boots with touring sole, with SOLE.ID the bindings can be adjusted in seconds. The secret is the height-adjustable gliding plate; easy to handle and of course providing uncompromising performance. SOLE.ID respects ISO 5355 (alpine boots) and ISO 9523 (boots with touring soles).
Hollow Tech
The fibre-reinforced frame base plate provides impressive riding stability and is yet very light due to the gas injected hollow construction.
Triple Pivot Light 2 Toe
The compact toe features a horizontal spring which together with the gliding plate ensure precise release behaviour. An aluminium bridge on the top provides additional support without adding any extra weight.
Hollow Linkage 2 Heel
This guarantees optimal retention for all types of alpine and touring soles. The aluminium hollow axle saves on weight, maximizes torsional stiffness and reduces the pressure required for step-in by around 35%.
Climbing Aid
The titanium climbing aid offers three positions with 0°, 7° and 13° which can easily be accessed with the ski pole. Integrated elastomer paddings dampen the impact reducing the irritating traditional “clack” and allow more comfortable hiking.
Touring Balance
Switching the lever to touring mode moves the whole binding 40 mm backward, allowing a more comfortable walking position and keeping the ski optimally balanced for kick turns and steep terrain.
Touring Base Plate
The wide frame construction is secured at several positions, perfectly distributing the pressure for unparalleled skiing performance.
