Gecko glueless skins have been around for over 15 years now, and have gained a loyal following since they really are so practical.
Gecko skins do not use a traditional glue, but have an adhesive rubber-like compound that adheres to smooth dry surfaces and does not get contaminated by dust, hair vegetation and snow. 
The skins do stick face-to-face but very little effort is required to separate them. It's important to have a dry ski base when attaching the Gecko skins, and one should take care to dry the base when making several climbs in one outing.
Light, compact and easy to clean, one can just fold the skins and stash them in your pack or inside your jacket without having to protect everything from the skin glue. Super practical.
