The narrowest model underfoot in stockli's All-Mountain Montero series, the Montero AS has a curvy 127-76-107 mm sidecut and 13.7 m turning radius (166 cm). Designed for skiers looking for an agile piste ski that can also take in the occasional offpiste adventure, the Montero AS excels in short and medium turns, letting you maximise your fun on piste.
Stockli have called these skis the Montero AS, standing for "All-mountain Slalom" since they offer a heady combination of easy handling with impressive agility and edge hold.
A great choice for skiers who like fast alternating turns without too much effort. Say no to boredom and a big yes to varied skiing – all day long.
Features
Features Stockli Montero AS Ski 2026 + Strive 13D bronze
Full Edge Contact:
The widest points of the ski are set further forward or back. This makes the shovel grip faster and the part of the edge in contact with the snow when the ski is tilted becomes longer.
Benefits: Easier, faster turn initiation, improved grip in the turn due to the longer contact area
Solid Metal Edge Light:
Same edge width as the SME. A modified die-cutting procedure, however, means the edge is inserted less deeply into the ski, which saves weight.
Benefits: Longer service life, reduced susceptibility to damage, more grinding possible.
Adaptive Contact Length:
The widest point on the shovel is set further forward. Together with a slight rocker (more gradual up-bend of the shovel), the more the ski is tilted, the further forward the contact point of the edge with the snow moves. This preserves its nimble characteristics without sacrificing stability and grip during the turn.
Benefits: The greater the tilt, the higher the stability and sense of security. Playful and good-natured at lesser tilt angles.
Tail Rocker:
Rocker: A longer rocker at the tail with a flatter radius.
Benefits: With the longer, extended rocker, the edge in contact with the snow is decreased, making the ski more playful. The longer rocker enables optimum grip when edging.
