ATK's Kevlar Core Leash is one of the lightest leashes available. The Kevlar cable is wound in an elastic spiral to help prevent the leash catching on tree branches or other obstacles. The leash has a breaking strain of about 100 kg but is supplied with a safety ring which reduces the traction resistance from 80 to 40 kg in order to adapt to the weight of the user.
