Akyra II is the perfect shoe if you're looking for protection and support without compromising on speed and agility. The KPU 3D Grid™ of the upper and Impact Brake System™ in the sole ensure stability and protection, while the Trail Rocker™ combined with the comfortable and flexible fit add energy to every step.

La Sportiva Akyra II Features:

Lining: Non-slip mesh
Midsole: Injection moulded EVA with BIO-based components
Sole: Dual Compound FriXion® XT Red with Trail Rocker+ Impact Brake System™ Mountain Running
Upper: 3-layer upper construction + KPU 3D Grid™ construction

Frixion Red:
The La Sportiva FriXion® compound is the result of extensive R&D aimed at creating outsoles with parameters of grip and durability that respond to all types of use and terrain.
The Frixion range uses 5 custom formulated compounds from mountain running to climbing shoes.

Impact Brake System:
The innovative system is applied to the sole to absorb negative ground impact, help traction and improve grip downhill.
Created and developed by the R&D department at La Sportiva, it offers real advantages during racing by reducing negative ground impact. The unique position of the lugs allows as many of them as possible to come into contact with the ground, for maximum impact absorption.
