From ski touring to ski mountaineering, the RIDE is the lightest ice axe in the Petzl range. At 45 cm long and just 240 g, it's ultra-compact and can easily be carried on your pack. It provides secure placements, with a stainless steel spike and tapered pick. The head design and curved shaft provide comfortable grip whether you're in piolet-canne position or climbing. Practical and efficient, it also features a low profile adze for clearing snow when necessary. The beveled spike makes it easier to carry on your pack without damaging your gear.
