The Plum Karibou 14 is a high-performance ski touring binding designed for powerful ski tourers looking for both practical uphill efficiency and advanced downhill performance. It features a patented front elasticity system that allows 8-12mm of total elasticity (including 8mm at the front) which improves the natural flex of the ski during heavy compression. This system provides better shock absorption, smooth skiing, and reduces the risk of unwanted pre-release.

The binding has a wide base for maximum torsional rigidity and includes an automatic ski brake, with widths 100 or 120 mm. The heel unit base plate has 35 mm adjustment for boot sole length and the heel unit offers three positions for climbing - flat, 59 & 84 mm, easily swapped with the ski poles. The heel piece includes elastic travel for safety and comfort.
