The latest generation Wayback skis set the standard for backcountry skis, with models that are are lighter and stiffer, giving both more efficient climbing and excellent downhill performance.

This latest generation K2 Wayback 96 is both lighter and stiffer than the previous version, giving even better backountry performance both uphill and for the descent.
K2 have built the wayback 96 using their T3 Ti-SpYne construction, incorporating a metal laminate layer into a light weight design, creating the most versatile touring ski to date.
The Wayback 96 supplies all the edge grip, stability and downhill performance you come to expect from a ski with metal, yet weighs in at only 2.65 kg a pair (177cm).
The Wayback 96 is at the same time light enough for comfortable multi-day hut tours while providing the performance and precision for skiing steep slopes.

All-Terrain Rocker

T3 stands for "Titanal Touring Technology" A first of its kind, the titanal laminate developed specifically for K2 Touring skis dramatically increases dampening and predictability when combined with lightweight carbon constructions, while at the same time enhancing stability and edge grip.                                                                                                    
Snowphobic Topsheet
Hydrophobic, snow-shedding top material that helps prevent snow from sticking to the tops of your skis.                                                                                                    
Carbon Overdrive
Top secret construction using carbon fiber to make a ski even more awesome than if it did not have carbon fiber. Radness levels achieved are difficult to quantify.                                                                               
Skin Grommets
Fully removable plug to accommodate K2’s pre-cut skins with a Z-clip skin attachment and can be used with K2 Shovels to build a rescue sled.
