The latest generation Wayback skis set the standard for backcountry skis, with models that are are lighter and stiffer, giving both more efficient climbing and excellent downhill performance.

The fattest model in K2's touring series, the Wayback 106 is designed to be the ultimate mid-winter powder touring ski.
The Wayback 106 has plenty of float for those epic deep days, while remaining nimble enough to dance down couloirs deep in the backcountry.
Weight, or the lack of it, is important on even the widest touring skis and the 2024 Wayback 106 weighs in at a very respectable 2.900 kg / pair (179 cm) thanks to the Paulownia Tour Lite core.
The Ti Spyne, a titanal reinforcement strategically placed in the middle of the ski, provides the stability and control previously reserved only for dedicated alpine skis.
With new graphics for this winter, the Wayback 106 is an excellent modern backcountry powder tool.
