A popular choice for classic ski tourers since it's debut now nine years ago, the Black Crows Ova Freebird stays unchanged for 2025 after a very successful upgrade last season. Last winter the Ova Freebird was updated with a stiffer and snappier flex, providing higher performance and grip at speed while remaining accessible and easy-going. Black Crows had changed the sidecut a few mm but retained the medium 17 m radius that gives these skis a nice nimble character, easy to use whatever the terrain and snow conditions. A modern "efficient" category touring ski, the Ova Freebird has a balanced medium flex throughout the length of the ski, giving them a very agreeable flex and great ski-snow contact. Ski tourers wanting a lightweight ski for easy climbing that performs well downhill should take a look at the new Ova Freebird, a ski with a great pedigree.
