Black Crows have taken a big risk for 2019 by updating their classic ski, the Corvus.
For this season Black Crows have completely updated the shape of the Corvus while keeping the same objective - the Corvus is a hard-charging Big Mountain ski.
Built with a flat camber and double titanal plates, the new Corvus is stiffer than the previous version, and requires more assertive skiing while in return the new flat camber allows the ski to pivot faster.
The new Corvus combines higher performance in difficult snow conditions and excellent grip on hardpack as well as faster pivoting in soft snow.
Aggressive skiers who like using the rebound at the end of the turn will find the new Corvus more neutral. This new design with the flat camber, titanal reinforcements and low rocker works very well and is superbly effective, with increased acceleration than the previous model while requiring slightly more attention when putting the flat camber on the edges. Skiers who liked the Volkl Katana and Blizzard Bodacious will enjoy the new Corvus.
Built for hard charging big mountain skiers, the Corvus offers even higher performance in all snow conditions.

Camille Jaccoux says:
"The corvus satisfies our quest for an equilibrium between authenticity and modernity. we've found that balance with a ski which combines a super-reactive pivot and an infallible alpine spirit."

Reverse camber, flat surface in the middle of the ski:
