Please note that we are not able to deliver Atomic skis to the USA or Canada.

Atomic's widest women's-specific touring ski, the Backland 102 W is an ideal off-piste and powder oriented ski, very versatile with superb powder performance and equally capable on packed snow.
Designed for performance in the backcountry, the Backland 102 W is light, turns easily and floats like a dream.
The Backland 102 W shares the same Powder Rocker 20/70/10 profile as the wider men's/unisex Backland 107 with a long tapered tip, a central cambered section and a smaller 10% rockered tail.
The long HRZN tip improves float and makes powder turns fluid and stable, the cambered central section grips on hardpack while the upswept tail helps turnability in the trees.
These skis weigh in at around 3 kg, so skinning uphill won't drain your energy banks. The 130-102-121 mm shape is very versatile, ideal for making the most of the backcountry in all snow conditions.

Features:

HRZN Tech Tip
HRZN Tech Tips supplying 10% more surface area for good float in powder.
Cap Sidewall

Carbon Backbone
A dynamic carbon insert for Atomic's lighwteight backcountry skis, Backland FR and Backland.
Light Woodcore
The light woodcore is made using poplar, ideal for powder, all mountain and freeride touring skis that must combine low weight with strength and reliability.
