Having seen how popular the excellent F1 has become, Scarpa wanted to push ski touring boot technology even further.
With design concepts taken from both the F1 and the Alien skimo race boots, the F1 LT is Scarpa's lightest alpine touring (not skimo race) boot.

Weighing in at under at only 990 g per boot (27 MP), the F1 LT is 20% lighter than the F1. 
Low weight does not mean wimpy performance though, and the LT has a stiffer forward flex of 100 compared to the F1's 95 thanks to the use of a 3D Lambda Frame design.
These raised Carbon Grilamid LFT ribs along both sides of the shell significantly increase strength, durability and torsional rigidity with minimal added weight.
The 3D Lambda Frame design also improves responsiveness and overall performance, allowing you to focus on the terrain and not your boots.

The F1 LT has the highest cuff mobility of all Scarpa alpine touring boots apart from the Alien skimo race series. With friction-free rotation and 72° movement, going uphill has never been easier.
It's easy to forget that you're wearing ski boots when climbing, there is really no resistance to natural ankle flex and the minimum weight lets you power up the hill.
Once at the top it's simple and quick to screw down the Boa Fit System to close the shell, close the buckle and ski/walk lever and you're ready to go.
The F1 LT BOA system is an exclusive floating system located under the waterproof fabric cover that contracts downwards on the instep of the liner as the dial is tightened, precisely controlling volume and fit.

Scarpa have equipped the F1 LT boots with the RECCO® reflectors, making you searchable in the event of an avalanche.
The technology enables directional pinpointing of a victim's precise location using harmonic radar without interfering with avalanche transceivers.

 Downhill, the Carbon Grilamid LFT shell & cuff deliver incredible power for such low weight, with the Speed Lock LT ski/walk mechanism letting you power the cuff through turns. Amazing control for such a light boot.
