Scarpa Alien Carbon

The Scarpa Alien has been updated for 2025 with minor technical updates and very successful cosmetic changes.
It's a great boot that looks as good as it performs, the Alien is sure to be very popular again this winter amongst skimo racers, being a great choice for racing and fitness training and for those seeking a good balance between performance and price.
Weighing only 870 g per foot (size 27 MP), the Alien is a lightweight, technically advanced skimo race boot, representing the perfect “crossover” choice between the race world and lightweight ski touring.
The cuff and shell feature light but strong Grilamid® reinforced with glass and carbon fibers to deliver high function at a reasonable price.
With a very generous 72° cuff rotation, the Scarpa Alien offers natural stride comfort with minimal friction, letting you concentrate on gaining altitude.
Once at the top, the Speed Lock Lite system connects the ski/walk lever with cuff operation via Dyneema® cord, providing simple, single-action transitions from up to down and back again.
The Intuition liner offers legendary fit, comfort and warmth, while the floating BOA® closure system ensures quick, easy and durable fit tensioning.

The Scarpa Alien offers skimo race performance at an affordable price.
It's so popular Scarpa have produced a women's version for the US market, not available in Europe this winter.
The Alien is available in full sizes 24-30 MP.

The Alien system is an exclusive floating system located under the waterproof fabric cover that contracts downwards on the instep of the liner as the dial is tightened, precisely controlling volume and fit.
