Blizzard have updated the Zero G series for this winter, keeping the same shape but incorporating a completely new construction, so we have a new Zero G for 2024.
A latest generation Efficient Category touring ski, the Zero G is made for travelling fast and far in the backcountry. Weighing only 2.20 kg / pair (171 cm) and with a  115-85-99 mm silhouette that gives a 21.5 m turning radius, the Zero G 85 is made for climbng rapidly and securely.
Designed for intermediate and expert tourers, the Zero G 85 is not the most agile touring ski, but that medium long turn radius and quite long effective contact length result in very good stability at speed for such a light ski.
The longer effective edge also comes into it's own when skiing the steeps, letting you concentrate on the terrain.
In changeable snow conditions the lack of weight does make itself noticeable, but with good technique on the skier's part the Zero Gs respond well with solid performance in all conditions.
We're impressed with the updates Blizzard have made and the new Zero G 85 will please experienced ski tourers looking for an efficient backcountry tool.

Core: TrueBlend Tour Woodcore
Made with paulownia and poplar. This combination results in a ski that is light while having improved power and stability.
Carbon Flipcore Technology.
Already used on Blizzard's freeride skis for several seasons, this production process that incorporates a uni-directional carbon frame onto the core. The design give results in great performance, agility and low weight.
Carbon Drive 3.0 Laminates
The combination of the TrueBlend Wood Core and Carbon Flipcore Technology allows Blizzard to reduce ski weight  and guarantees optimal flex and torsional rigidity, resulting in a level of stability, edge grip and control unprecedented in a ski touring ski.
Rocker Camber Rocker
The Zero G 85 has moderate tip rocker for easy turn initiation, traditional camber underfoot  for grip in hard snow condition and a semi-flat tail that gives easy turn exits with control at speed. 
Sandwich Compound Sidewalls
ABS sidewalls provide superior stability, power transmission, handling and durability.
