No frills, add-ons, or special features, the Spartan is a board born for a single purpose—getting your butt in the backcountry. Its base is basic black. Its topsheet looks like it was designed by a monk. It has Voile's new channel puck system, but that’s as fancy as it gets. It’s tough and scrappy, with an easy flex, snappy radius, and enough taper at the tail for quick flicks in the trees, but not so much you can’t ride it switch. It has Voile's legendary lightweight construction, but not a whiff of carbon. Because you don’t need it. This is the Spartan.

Fischer have updated the S-Bound range for 2016. The largest nordic touring skis made by Fischer, the S-Bound 125 is designed for steeper slopes and deeper snow, for nordic touring with an emphasis on the descent. You can also use these skis with lightweight telemark or even alpine touring bindings - we have mounted several pairs with Dynafit TLT Speed Turn bindings. The S-Bound 125s have a medium soft nordic camber. This helps increase glide on the flat, but these are not the skis you'd choose for long distances.

The S-Bound 125s have a medium soft nordic camber. This helps increase glide on the flat, but these are not the skis you'd choose for long distances. The waxless Crown base gives good grip on fresh and soft snow. On ice and steeper slopes you can add skins. These skins are equipped with practical Easy Skin attachment system. The skins cover only the fishscales leaving the tip and tail to glide efficiently. These skis are 95 mm underfoot, while the Easy Skins are only 500 mm wide, so you may preferr to use full length wider skins for better base cover. We recommend using 75 mm telemark bindings with these skis - the NNN BC system is not designed for skis this wide!! Lightweight plastic boots such as the Scarpa T4 are ideal, together with the Voile 3-pin Cable Traverse or G3 Targa bindings.
Please note: Bindings and Easy Skins not included.

Following in the footsteps of its universal avatar, the modernisation of the atris birdie concentrated on three variables: lengthening the radius, softening of the flex and accentuating the progressive rise of the tail. Due to this modernisation, the ski is more stable at high speed and edging without altering its handling and playful character. Lighter and subtly more supple in relation to the new atris, the atris birdie the obvious choice for freeriders looking for a ski which is effective in all snow conditions, whether hard or deep.

The Voilé V6 BC represents Voilé’s third foray into the domain of scaled-base skis, as preceded by the Vector BC and Charger BC. Admittedly, such skis are not for everyone or every variety of slope. That said, for the backcountry skier who must continually make long approaches over undulating terrain, the V6 BC’s can be a welcome godsend. Does the V6 BC replace the need to carry skins? No, definitely not. Is there are a compromise in downhill glide on lesser slopes?

This ski inspires ambitious ski-tourers to discover untracked powder slopes. Waste no energy on the climb and float effortlessly on the descent. With the help of the HOLLOWTECH technology the ski‘s running characteristics is improved. The cutout section in the shovel leads to a reduced weight of the freely vibrating zone by almost 15 %. The resulting lower inertia moments optimize the retraction behavior of the ski. This means that after an impact the shovel returns much faster to the stable condition, enabling the ski to keep its track much more precisely.
