The Dynafit Low Tech Race Brake weighs just 33 grams and features an innovative dual function combining both the heel lift/cover and ski brake and which can be manipulated with one hand.
This featherlight brake allows skimo competitors to transition between ski and walk modes in seconds and at the same time deploy either heel lifter or brakes. By integrating the heel lifter function with the brake, Dynafit's binding developers were able to save those last few grams. The Low Tech Race ski brake is compatible with the Low Tech Race 105 and Low Tech Race 115 bindings and is ISMF complaint. The ski brake can be retrofitted to the Low Tech Race 105 & 115 bindings to conform to new ISMF regulations requiring brakes in races as of 2021.
