Developed from their excellent race-inspired Superlite 175 bindings, Dynafit have shaved a further 25 g to create the Superlite 150. The Superlite 150 is light yet rigid thanks to the 100% aluminium construction.
Stripped down to the bare minimum, the Superlite 150 shares the same all-aluminium toe unit as the Low Tech Race bindings, with a brooad drill hole pattern and separate crampon slot (included). The heel unit shares the same stable 4-hole pattern of the Superlite 175 but with a completely different design. Vertical release is fixed at 8 DIN while lateral release has a massive 4-13 DIN adjustment range, the most of any AT bindings. For lighter skiers wanting softer vertical release, Dynafit make a "U" spring with a 6 DIN value. Made from 100% aluminium, the heel unit has a unique design and by turning 180° offers a choice of 4 different heel lift positions. While most ski tourers buying these bindings will be fixated on the weight, Dynafit do produce ski brakes with a choice of 75, 90 and 105 mm widths, available as accessories.
An excellent binding that can be used for skimo racing or ultra-efficient touring, the Superlite 150 combines minimal weight with ski touring comfort and is sure to be in big demand again this winter..
